The receptionist said she would put a rush on it. So I wait through this long line and finally get up to the desk. The line to check in was huge, due to the CMU graduation. So after the first 2 hours of gambling, we decided to check to see if our room was ready again. What happened to the “certified hot” slots? That was our casino experience, now here’s the hotel experience. We used to win at SE, but looks like something has changed. Coincidence? If it were just me complaining, I wouldn’t think anything of it and just think I was having an unlucky day, but when EVERYONE at EVERY table was complaining, even the dealer noticed the pattern, something is wrong here. The only time we won anything was when the relief dealer came in. This went on for 8 hours, through 2 shifts. If we had a pair, she had 2 pairs, if we had a straight, she had a bigger straight or a flush, if someone had a full house, she had a bigger full house. The odds of the dealer having that many good cards to beat us all was unbelievable. Then went to Ultimate Texas Hold’em and was beat down badly. Then went to Craps, and went around the table of at least 10 people and I think about 2 points were made. We sat down at the Crazy 4 table and did not win.
The room (king suite) was not ready, but we registered anyway. We knew it was early to check in, but we took a chance. I will never go back to Soaring Eagle, and this is why…We arrived on a Saturday at 1 pm.
